Learning Irish Language: Why?

Os voy a poner un vídeo que resume mi opinión sobre los idiomas. ¿Por qué quiero y estoy aprendiendo irlandés? Porque creo que el idioma es uno de los pilares de la cultura de una región o un país, es parte de su identidad, como se comunican sus habitantes, y eso lo hace especial, porque se ha construido en función de las necesidades de esas personas, por como se comunican esas personas, es como su música o su literatura, o sus edificios, todo está basado en como lo crean las personas que viven allí, y eso lo hace especial y sobre todo único. Por eso quiero aprender irlandés, por eso y porque mi abuelo lo hablaba, mi abuelo era bilingüe de inglés e irlandés, y es una forma de decir: Seanathair, cuimhin liom tú. :).

I will leave you with a video that resumes my opinion of the languages. Why do I want and why am I learning Irish? Because I think the language is one of the main things of the culture of a place or a country, it is part of its identity, how their people communicate, and that makes it special, because it has been build in agreement of their needs, how they communicate, it is like their music or literature, or their buildings, everything is based on how the people who lives there create it. That's why I want to learn irish, because of that and because my grandfather was an irish speaker, my grandfather was bilingual of irish and english, and so it is a way to say: Seanathair, cuimhin liom tú. :).
